Are you an experienced and dedicated class teacher looking for a fulfilling role in Hounslow? Timeplan Education has a fantastic opportunity for you to join a supportive school community, paid to the outer London pay scale.

About the Role: We are seeking a Class Teacher (M3 to M6) who is passionate about teaching and committed to safeguarding children in every interaction. You will work collaboratively with other staff members, following the trust's code of conduct and meeting all Teacher Standards in line with trust expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the teaching and learning handbook to deliver a sequential, progressive, and inspiring curriculum.
  • Systematically plan, teach, adapt, assess, and deliver interventions based on curriculum objectives.
  • Commit to assessment procedures, meeting deadlines, and providing timely feedback to students.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to high standards of spoken and written English, including cursive handwriting.
  • Foster a love of reading for pleasure, including phonics, and ensure every child receives purposeful feedback for every area of learning.
  • Lead the organization and delivery of phonics lessons, including assessing and grouping students, monitoring progress, and preparing for assessments.
  • Be a positive role model, create a safe learning environment, and ensure a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Comply with safeguarding and equality duties, contribute to professional development, and engage with policies and procedures.
