Unqualified Special Needs Teaching Assistant

A fantastic, creative and friendly Primary School in the London Borough of Hounslow is looking to recruit a Unqualified Special Needs Teaching Assistant. The Unqualified Special Needs Teaching Assistant role is a full time and long-term role, for an ASAP start.

As a Unqualified Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will be working with Primary School children, with a range of SEN needs. As an Unqualified Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting children who have been diagnosed with Autism / ASD, ADHD, children with SEMH and children with behavioural difficulties.

Person Specification - Unqualified Special Needs Teaching Assistant

  • Must have a good degree from a reputable University
  • Good understanding of SEN is required
  • Experience in a previous role, or personal experience with SEN would be ideal
  • Passionate about supporting children with SEN
  • You must be able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Calm and compassionate nature
