We are a welcoming, high-achieving, faith-based secondary school committed to nurturing every student to reach their full potential. We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and proactive SENCO to lead our Special Educational Needs provision and champion inclusive learning for all students.
About the RoleAs SENCO, you will:

Lead the identification, assessment, and provision for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Coordinate and monitor individual learning plans, ensuring all students receive tailored support.

Advise and support teaching staff to implement effective classroom strategies.

Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to promote holistic student development.

Contribute to whole-school planning and the development of an inclusive and supportive school culture.
We are looking for someone who:

Holds a teaching qualification and the SENCO accreditation (or is willing to complete).

Has experience working with students with a range of SEND in a secondary school setting.

Is highly organised, proactive, and capable of leading a team.

Demonstrates empathy, patience, and a passion for inclusive education.

Supports and embodies the Catholic ethos of the school.
