Senior Finance Manager

As a Senior Finance Manager, you will oversee the meticulous preparation of financial statements adhering to IFRS standards, encompassing income statements, balance sheets, and cashflow statements. You will hold full accountability for orchestrating the month-end close process to ensure prompt delivery of both internal and external reporting obligations. Additionally, you maintain the integrity of the General Ledger including journal entries and account reconciliations. Managing VAT compliance and reporting falls within your remit, alongside the establishment and upkeep of robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and reduce financial risks. You will be the primary liaison for annual statutory and control audits, as well as external tax partners. Furthermore, you will conduct cashflow reporting and forecasting, oversee the development of the accounting team, and lend financial expertise to various projects and initiatives. As a senior member of the finance team, you will be asked to provide support across the business as needed.

Senior Finance Manager Requirements:

• Fully qualified through a recognised accountancy body (i.e. ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Experience of working in the sport/ fashion, retail/ wholesale industry (or in practice alongside such clients) would give a distinct advantage
• Strong technical and analytical skills including IFRS.
• Experience of year end statutory reporting.
• Organised, structured, able to manage priorities and work to tight deadlines.
• Motivated with pro-active mindset.
• High degree of accuracy and eye for detail.
• Excellent excel skills.
• Team player, strong communication skills and able to develop and maintain strong relationship with colleagues.
