Working Hours: 35 per week Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm

Collingwood is an innovative education organisation based in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. We design and deliver education and training programmes across the UK and also internationally. We are expanding our bookings administration team, responsible for recruiting schools to our free UK projects. The role involves managing email, phone, and bookings campaigns in targeted areas, as well as overseeing school project visits.

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organisational ability, and essential IT experience (email, Excel, Microsoft Teams). Most importantly, a commitment to making a difference to young people's lives. The role is mainly office based although there is an opportunity to work from home at times, from our headquarters in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct telephone campaigns including updating school contact details and making outgoing calls to promote free programmes
  • Manage email campaigns, converting responses into confirmed bookings
  • Oversee the entire booking process, including confirmations, logistics, and follow up
  • Maintain and update databases and tour schedules
  • Liaise with touring teams to facilitate smooth project delivery
  • Organising PR opportunities
  • Conduct occasional school visits as needed

Requirements and skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills (phone, email and Teams)
  • Proficiency in Excel, email, and Microsoft Teams
  • Goal-oriented, ensuring minimum bookings targets are met
  • Effective time management, balancing campaigns with administrative tasks
  • Confidence in making regular outgoing calls (not telesales - offers are free but a minimum call volume is required)
  • A collaborative team player who works well within a group
  • Adaptability to take on additional administrative tasks
  • Passion for education and supporting young people in reaching their potential
