As a Sales Ledger Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining customer account records, ensuring data accuracy in line with SLAs. Your daily tasks will include managing payments in process, like posting sales receipts and applying settlement discount policies. You'll also assist with resolving customer delivery disputes promptly. Additionally, you'll accurately raise non-stock invoices, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and nominal coding. You'll support in managing web-sale customer accounts and help with month-end closing activities related to Accounts Receivable. Furthermore, you'll be expected to aid the wider finance team in various ad hoc projects as needed.

Hours of Work: Full Time, Permanent

Sales Ledger Assistant Experience & Skills:

  • Previous experience working within an accounts receivable team an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High-level of organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage conflicting and competing demands effectively.
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Intermediate / advanced level in Microsoft Office applications.
