We have an exhilarating opportunity for an Apparel Designer to join our dynamic team at Focus Brands' bustling Head Office in vibrant Huddersfield, home to some of the most renowned names in fashion!
As an Apparel Designer, youll be at the forefront of creating seasonal collections, working collaboratively with our Chief Product Officer and Creative Director. Your role will involve critical research on customer profiles, new trends, high street competitors, and regional brand awareness. Youll help formulate design strategies for each brand and season, crafting detailed CAD design specifications and seamlessly integrating them into the PLM system. Present your collections with confidence to our team and external buyers. Be an essential part of fit sessions and prototype reviews, ensuring the highest quality and brand alignment. Build strong relationships with factories across China, Sri Lanka, Turkey, and Pakistan, and occasionally travel for development trips that inspire our next big hit.
Hours of Work: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Apparel Designer Requirements:
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in fashion/sportswear design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator with a robust portfolio.
- Strong research skills and trend awareness.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with exemplary time management abilities.
