Are you a dedicated, experienced Sister/Charge Nurse looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the ward department of a leading healthcare provider in Huddersfield. This full-time role offers a salary of up to £47,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience, training, and qualifications.

As a Sister/Charge Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day management of the Hospital Ward and its staff
  • Providing clinical leadership and efficient management of ward resources
  • Driving clinical excellence in all aspects of care received by patients
  • Maintaining and enhancing customer service and satisfaction
  • Leading and supporting the nursing team to meet all aspects of the clinical governance agenda
  • Conducting yourself professionally within the standard and framework provided by the NMC Code of professional Conduct

The ideal Sister/Charge Nurse candidate should have:

  • Relevant professional development, both clinically and managerially, preferably evidenced by certification RN with valid NMC Registration
  • Experience in acute nursing care
  • A Registered Nurse Level 1 / Diploma / BSc in Nursing Studies
  • Up-to-date knowledge in area of practice
  • Awareness of NMC Code of Accountability
  • Recruitment and selection skills
  • Experience working in an acute healthcare sector in a Senior Registered Nurse post or equivalent
