MACHINE OPERATIVE

Working in partnership with the World's leading provider in sealants, we are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Machine operative to work in the HU17 area in Beverley. This is a fantastic opportunity that offers full time, ongoing work with the potential of a permanent role after just 12 weeks with an excellent pay rate of (12.98/hr) and opportunities for overtime paid at premium rates.

Shift pattern / Working hours

Monday to Thursday rotating shifts Mornings and Afternoons

5am to 2pm / 1.45pm to 10.45pm

Start date / Duration

The Machine operative role is a Temp to Perm position that will commence with immediate effect however, should you have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around this. Once you have completed 12 weeks work you will be offered a permanent placement.

Job description

As a Machine operative you will be responsible for the for the manufacturing and production of ink cartridges. Day to day you will be expected to;

Load machine - ensuring that the correct type of ink products are stocked and maintained to the machines requirements

Quality check products that are being produced by the machine

Completing relevant paperwork

Manually boxing and packing products at the end of line

Report any issues and machine faults immediately, ensuring these are rectified quickly and efficiently

Adhere to health and safety at all times

The successful candidate:

To be considered for the position of Machine operative you must;

Have previous experience working as a Machine operative

Have experience within quality control

Be technically minded

Be committed, team player with a keen eye for detail.

Reliable with good timekeeping.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
