Are you a skilled Chef looking for a new opportunity to showcase your talent? We are currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced Chef. If you have a flair for culinary artistry and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect role for you!
Responsibilities:
- Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment
- Learn menu items and ensure correct ingredients are available
- Cook meals in a timely manner
- Ensure high standards of taste and presentation
- Work effectively with the kitchen team ensuring efficient and smooth operation
- Inform wait staff about daily specials, promoting collaboration and synchronisation between the kitchen and the front of house team
- Adhere to all hygiene and health and safety standards
- Closing down the kitchen ensuring areas are clean and prep is completed for the next day
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef, with a understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Solid knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
- Ability to effectively communicate
- A creative and innovative approach to food preparation and presentation.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
- A positive attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
