Role Overview:
As a CNC Operator/ Machinist, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. You will work closely with their engineering and production teams to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce components to tight tolerances.
- Interpret engineering drawings and program CNC machines accordingly.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications using precision measuring tools.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machining techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
