Authorised Person, (SSE) Category 3AElectrically biasedPower Networks, Transmission & Distribution£350 per day, CIS or Umbrella6 months+Reading, Berkshire & Melksham, WiltshireJob Ref: J200028Supervise a working party in an exposed, live HV substation, open bus bar compound.What is the Role?In this role you will be responsible for supervising works on the on the electricity network. Ensuring construction work is completed within specific time frames and the network is restored to normal as soon as possible.You will be part of the team that is involved in the delivery of construction projects in line with agreed KPI's, including all plant and equipment (both electrical and mechanical) ensuring it is operating within designated limits.You will assist the maintenance team with switching out the network and restoration switching within authorisation level, including planning on how, when and where all works will take place.You will be an ambassador when interacting with external and internal customers.What do I need?Knowledge of the UK Electrical Distribution Network.You will be an Authorised Person with SSE Category 3AA high regard for safety with strong customer service skills.A full UK driving licence and flexible approach to working hours and work location is a must.Would suit an Authorised Person, an M&E Engineer, a Site Supervisor, an Electrical Project Engineer, a SAPTo apply speak to Cindy AndersonWe also have roles in Project Engineering, Site Management, Operations Management, Site Engineering, Design, Health and Safety and Compliance
