The position of Head Baker at our clients Organic Bakery is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate baker looking to take on a leadership role. 

Summary of key details:

Position: Head Baker 

Location: Hungerford 

Responsibilities:

1. Managing and overseeing the baking team

2. Ensuring quality of all baked goods

3. Creating and developing new recipes

4. Maintaining inventory of baking supplies

5. Ensuring health and safety standards are met (Salsa Standards ideally)

6. Training new staff members

7. Overseeing the entire baking process from materials ingress to customer delivery

8. Working with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients

9. Managing the bakery's budget

10. Handling customer complaints and issues

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Head Baker or similar role

2. Excellent baking skills

3. Strong leadership and management skills

4. Knowledge of health and safety regulations

5. Ability to create and develop new recipes

6. Good communication skills

7. Ability to work under pressure

8. Attention to detail

9. Physical stamina and strength

10. Culinary school background is a plus
