Quality Assurance Engineer

Monday to Friday: Hours - 08:00 - 16:00

Our client is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer toSupport, maintain and improve all aspects of the Business / Quality Management System in accordance with the relevant standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001

Job Description

  • Ensure and promote a safe work environment and safe working practices
  • Support internal audit programme of the Quality Management System and identify areas of improvement
  • Day to day management of the Non-Conformance Process and closure of Internal and External NCR’s (NCR / SCAR / customer returns / repairs / audits)
  • Work cross functionally to implement and measure effectiveness of Corrective and Preventative Actions
  • Manage third party/customer audits and resulting corrective action
  • Define and deliver quality training as appropriate throughout the company
  • Maintain, review and action as appropriate quality metrics as defined by the company
  • Ensure records are defined, maintained, and disposed of according to the company policy
  • Manage Control of monitoring & measuring equipment (Calibration) process
  • Analyse data to highlight trends and areas for improvement
  • Assist with timely completion of Initial Sample Inspection Reports and Supplier Quality issues as required

Qualifications

  • Degree Qualified Engineering or Manufacturing Discipline (preferred)
  • Experience of volume manufacturing (preferred)
  • Auditing Experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge or experience of ISO standards
  • Proficient MS Word and Excel skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change
