Monday to Friday: Hours - 08:00 - 16:00
Our client is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer toSupport, maintain and improve all aspects of the Business / Quality Management System in accordance with the relevant standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
Job Description
- Ensure and promote a safe work environment and safe working practices
- Support internal audit programme of the Quality Management System and identify areas of improvement
- Day to day management of the Non-Conformance Process and closure of Internal and External NCR’s (NCR / SCAR / customer returns / repairs / audits)
- Work cross functionally to implement and measure effectiveness of Corrective and Preventative Actions
- Manage third party/customer audits and resulting corrective action
- Define and deliver quality training as appropriate throughout the company
- Maintain, review and action as appropriate quality metrics as defined by the company
- Ensure records are defined, maintained, and disposed of according to the company policy
- Manage Control of monitoring & measuring equipment (Calibration) process
- Analyse data to highlight trends and areas for improvement
- Assist with timely completion of Initial Sample Inspection Reports and Supplier Quality issues as required
Qualifications
- Degree Qualified Engineering or Manufacturing Discipline (preferred)
- Experience of volume manufacturing (preferred)
- Auditing Experience (preferred)
- Knowledge or experience of ISO standards
- Proficient MS Word and Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to change
