As an experienced CNC Machinist, you will be supporting the manufacture of precision products for both for external clients, and the wider group. This represents a great career opportunity to join company continuously striving to develop its processes and practices to a higher standard while utilising some of the newest machinery and technology in manufacturing.

Typical duties would include

  • Programming and programme rectification, setting and operating of CNC Mill/Turning Centres on the shop floor
  • Conduct first off inspection using available inspection equipment
  • Operation of manual lathes as needed
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency by optimising production techniques
  • Ensuring a professional, quality service to colleagues and clients
  • Perform other duties such as light assembly work when required
  • Sharing operational knowledge and best practice to assist upskilling the wider team

You will be able to demonstrate

  • Experience in programming machines to produce small and complex components, specifically Fanuc and Haas controls (HAAS ST20Y)
  • Ability to interpret engineering documentation
  • Ideally experience/knowledge of lifting equipment lifts/overhead cranes
  • Ability to set and or operate other tool-room machine-shop equipment
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with a can do attitude
  • Strong team work ethic

There are two fixed shifts available:

Early shift is a 40 hour week, working Mon - Fri, 6:00AM - 2:30PM

Late shift is a 40 hour week, working Mon - Thu 2:00PM - 12:30AM
