Description
- Overseeing the daily operations of the accounting and finance department
- Implementing and maintaining financial controls and procedures
- Preparing and presenting financial reports and budgets
- Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Leading and developing the finance team
- Collaborating with senior management on strategic financial planning
- Analysing financial data and providing actionable insights
- Managing audits and liaising with external auditors
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA)
- Proven experience in a similar role within the Not-for-Profit sector
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in financial software
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
