AJ Chambers are proud to be partnered closely with a reputable, Top 150 national law firm in Huntingdon as they look to expand their Litigation team by hiring a Paralegal.

Experience within litigation is preferable but not entirely essential.

Responsibilities:

  • creating necessary legal documentation
  • drafting basic deeds, documents, and letters
  • preparing financial statements
  • conducting legal research as needed
  • handling basic correspondence and client-related telephone calls
  • understanding legal procedures
  • participating in the efficient management of client/matter files, including timely and accurate filing, file closure, archiving, retrieval, and return from storage, as well as updating relevant databases
  • managing administrative tasks and providing support to the team, including scanning, faxing, printing, document binding/bundling, time recording, and photocopying
  • using the case management system to store documents electronically
  • handling incoming and outgoing telephone calls, emails, and fax transmissions as required
  • ensuring confidentiality of all company and client documentation and information
  • maintaining client relationship management data and records
  • monitoring compliance and Lexcel standards
  • assisting with financial management as appropriate
  • welcoming clients and arranging meetings as needed
  • addressing queries and requests from fee earners, team coordinators, and secretaries
  • responding to client inquiries
  • transcribing digital dictation
  • supporting the team and assisting with various tasks as required.

  • Have experience working in a team and the ability to develop relationships with colleagues
