Position: Trainee Service Engineer
Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 (OTE £35,000 with overtime)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am till 5 pm (40-hour week; anything over is at x 1.5)

Job Description:
Recruit Mint is actively seeking a Trainee Service Engineer to join our esteemed client, a leader in water treatment in the UK. Based in Huntingdon, our client is expanding their business and has a new vacancy for a Trainee Service Engineer, servicing sites such as schools, care homes, and hospitals.
Key Responsibilities for the Trainee Service Engineer:
- Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs)
- Conduct closed system sampling
- Descale shower heads
- Service Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs)
- Configure pipework
- Perform monthly monitoring
- Descale calorifiers
- Refurbish water tanks, including elements such as linings, coatings, lids, insulation, and insect screens (full training will be provided for the right candidate)
Experience and Qualifications Required
- CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certificate Scheme)
- Previous experience within respective engineering field
