We are currently looking for QUALITY ASSURANCE AUDITORS

To audit, monitor and evaluate quality systems, processes and procedures providing technical support for the operational teams while maintaining and promoting technical and quality standards in line with business and customer needs. Assessing stems/ bouquets against the specifications to demonstrate quality performance of MM Flowers and its growers. Reporting Results back to growers and internally drive continuous improvement.

·Use inspection process and data to support growers/suppliers deliver consistent raw materials and service to MM.

·Accurate assessment of raw material inspected.

·Accurate recording of findings with supporting photographic evidence where visualisation adds value to inspection data.

·Complete and send grower/supplier reports, post-Procurement team evaluation; within agreed time scales, with supporting evidence e.g. data, photos, claim details

·Identify and segregate ‘out of specification’ materials and agree actions with relevant departments.

·Monitor the quality of bouquets produced against customer specifications.

·Assess all aspects of the finished products and utilise links to support departments to produce a detailed picture.

·Complete and send daily, weekly and period reports, within agreed time scales, with supporting evidence e.g., data, photos,

·Clear, concise and timely communication of findings to relevant internal teams

·Determine if specifications prepared for the production line staff are accurate and fit for purpose. Where specifications are inadequate/incorrect, address with the technical department.

·Manage out of specification finished goods e.g., ‘Use’, ‘Hold’, etc & ensure clear communication as to the fate of the material.

·To support the Factory teams by providing technical support and advice, seeking guidance from the QA Supervisor on any technical issues e.g., calibration of measuring equipment, labelling, raw materials, and traceability.To work with the production teams on continuous improvement of technical control and the monitoring, auditing of and management of the automated Olympus date coding system, e.g., adding products, approving concessions and any barcode / system issues.

·To understand and apply the business Quality Standards ensuring company, customer and legislative requirements are met and maintained by setting standards and monitoring good manufacturing practices, applying HACCP principles and preventing reoccurrence of non-conformance against these standards.

·To audit compliance against Quality Management Systems and GMP, raising all non-conformances against relevant standards with objective evidence enabling the operational teams to take the appropriate and necessary corrective action, to follow up and monitor completion of actions.

·To ensure all product testing, is carried out according to the agreed schedule and in line with customer codes of practice.

·carry out full investigations including traceability for customer complaints.

·To support NPD trials and product launches, to ensure product is manufactured to correct standard.

·With guidance from Line Manager, coordinate day to day activities to deliver improvement of Technical KPIs

·To operate in a safe working manner and support the site/business on continuous improvement relating to health, safety, and the environment.

For this role it would be great if you have.

·Previous experience in a quality role is very beneficial but not essential (experience of the flower industry also advantageous)

·Good organisational, problem solving and analytical skills.

·A keen eye for detail

·Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary service

·Ability to work independently and within a small team that depends on one another to coordinate and share inspection activity.

·Carry out assignments to completion within parameters given.

·Microsoft Office experience - Word, Excel

·Flexible approach to work

·Identify and develop continuous improvement opportunities.
