Strategic Procurement Manager

Strategic Procurement ManagerLocation: Cambridgeshire, working from home with a couple of days in the office per month

• Manage contract renewals and related procedures
• Facilitate the integration of new suppliers
• Guarantee the excellence of purchase order output and delivery services
• Design and execute streamlined procurement processes and tactics
• Support the integration of Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance principles into procurement practices
• Lead RFI, RFP, RFQ processes and deliver findings
• Engage in negotiations for contracts of moderate to high value
• Oversee supplier performance and cultivate vendor relationships
• Offer insights for Management Information through data analysis and procurement analytics to forecast and manage risks

The ideal candidate will have:

• Established history of success in procurement or purchasing roles
• Understanding of procurement principles, methods, and strategies
• Experience in sourcing, negotiating contracts, and managing suppliers
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and ERP/SAP4Hana
• Capability in database administration
• Have experience in IT or Marketing or Professional Services categories
• CIPS
