CNC Operator
Location - Hythe, Kent
Salary - £12.50 Per Hour rising to £13.21 Per Hour after probation.

Do you have previous experience with CNC machining? Can you easily read and interpret engineering drawings?
We have a great opportunity in Hythe to work for one of our clients.
Responsibilities
- To produce work of good quality by means of setter instruction, quality gauges and other aids that are made available to you
- The effective planning of part running order
- To uphold the quality of produced parts in the department
- To ensure that production rates are kept to a satisfactory level
- To be responsible for the control of drawings
- To ensure that you are working to the correct methods
- Is responsible for the quality and control of work in his / her section
- To be responsible for the control of Health & Safety in the area
- Make necessary decisions to achieve the required results within agreed timescales, policies and procedures
- To be responsible for the cleanliness of your work area
- To display good housekeeping in the area
- To attend daily tier meetings
- To carry out other duties that fall within the general scope of the post which may be required from time to time
Skills and Experience
- The ability to read engineering drawings
- A good working knowledge and understanding of CNC machines
- A good understanding of how to set the machines
- Attention to detail
- A good understanding of basic maths
- Good organisational skills
- Problem solving ability
- Good communication skills
- A flexible approach
