Amida are working with a leading residential developer to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work from a new project based in East London.
One site you will report into a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a commercial team of 4. Projects will be primarily consist of new build housing and regeneration projects through well-established frame work agreements and joint ventures.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for assisting with the financial control of packages/projects always assisting with the effective financial control, providing accurate, detailed management and performance information to ensure they complete within budget.
You will complete a full range of commercial tasks from liaison with customers and internal managers, measuring, price, negotiate and agree budgets and costs for variations to projects scope, attend pre-contract meetings, undertake procurement activities, compile tender invitations and other duties as required.
Skills and experience:
- Relevant trade / technical / degree qualified.
- MRICS or MCOIB preferred or working towards either accreditation.
- Exposure to working with JCT form of contract.
