Duties and responsibilties

  • Manage a caseload of youth justice cases, including both out-of-court disposals and statutory court orders, in compliance with the National Standards and the HMIP Inspection Framework.
  • Adopt a Child First, Offender Second approach to deliver effective support and interventions that help children and young people complete their disposals/orders and lead crime-free lives.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with children, young people, their families, and relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for the individuals involved.
  • Prioritize equality of opportunity and anti-discriminatory practices in all aspects of the work to ensure fair and inclusive support.
