My client is a leading global Precision Engineering & Manufacturing company, specialising in integrated solutions for Aerospace, Defence, Medical, and related industries. We are seeking an experienced CMM Operator/ Quality Inspector who is dedicated and detail-oriented individual. In this role, you will you be reporting to the Operations Manager and supporting the inspection function of the site, operating a CMM machine, conducting 'first off' and final inspections, and in-process checks and First Article Inspection reports. Additionally, you will cover a general quality engineering role, including the calibration of onsite measurement equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all inspection duties in compliance with operating, workplace, and customer specifications.

  • Ensure machining process compliance according to company and customer requirements.

  • Interpret and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.

We are looking for a dedicated individual with excellent attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and a strong 'can do' attitude. The ideal candidate should be a good communicator, capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team. You must have experience within this role or demonstrable work history in a similar setting and expertise in operating CMM machinery, competence with handheld manual measuring equipment, a history in precision engineering, familiarity with AS9100/9001 quality management systems, and knowledge of aerospace specifications. Programming knowledge would be advantageous but not essential.

  • Monday to Thursday 7am - 5pm

  • 20 days including 6.5 Bank Holidays

  • Pension: 5% min personal contribution,
