Role: Warehouse Supervisor - Night Shift
Location: North Devon
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
Hours : 8pm - 7am, rota basis 5 days per week
Acorn by Synergie are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for a night shift role based in North Devon.
The Role:
The purpose of this key role in the business is to support the running of an efficient warehousing operation, providing a good customer experience, which differentiates us from the competition.
Responsibilities:
- Fair delegation of workload to assist the team fulfil the purpose of their roles
- Effective and regular communication with warehouse team ensuring the team work to efficiently provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure warehouse compliance with all Health & Safety and Food legislation.
- To ensure that the shift runs in accordance with company policies and procedures as laid down in the HACCP manual and employers handbook.
- To ensure that all goods are received, stored, checked, and picked with the minimum of cost and the maximum of effectiveness.
- To ensure that all food, employment, and H&S legislation is understood by all staff under their supervision.
- Picking and loading accuracy
- Staff turnover and absence levels
- Audit compliance / scores
Person Specification:
- Good Communicator
- Attention detail, methodical and thorough
- Able to adhere to business processes
- Able to build productive working relationships with staff, peers and directors
