Control Systems Support Engineer
As aControl Systems Support Engineeryou will play a pivotal role in maintaining, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues across our clients control systems and networks.
Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Conducting routine inspections, system audits, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Identifying and analysing complex system faults.
- Utilising troubleshooting techniques, diagnostic tools and procedures to resolve control system issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system modifications, upgrades, and enhancements to improve performance.
- Maintain accurate records & produce comprehensive documentation.
- Participate in the on-call rota.
Required Skills
- Full UK Driving License
- Previous experience in providing technical support for control or similar systems
Desired skills
- Proficiency in PLC programming.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and HMI design.
- Familiarity with industry-standard control system protocols, such as Modbus, Profibus, or Ethernet/IP.
