Are you a pro active and forward thinking Sales individual?

We are looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic individual with experience in the automation or engineering industry. Office-based, the sales engineer must have the ability to advise, follow up and complete sales interactions with the customer base and identify opportunities for them along the way.

As an Internal Sales Engineer your main responsibilities will be to:

路Deliver excellent customer service

路Build and maintain successful partnerships with customers, colleagues and suppliers and focus on the achievement of long-term customer loyalty

路Consistently generate profitable sales for the branch, via the telephone by effectively using a range of techniques and resources

路Identify and action appropriate steps to rectify any shortfalls

路Manage customer queries in relation to invoices, orders or stock

路Understand the customer cycle by proactively targeting new customers and developing them into consistent live trading accounts

路Embracing digital channels to enhance the customer offering by proactively promoting the webshop and other digital offerings.

路Collaborating with customers, colleagues and suppliers by supporting with promotions sales events, supplier days and new product launches

路Utilising IT systems such as Workspace, PowerBI and Microsoft Office to support the customer experience.

路Supporting in other areas of the branch as required

The Person:

As an Internal Sales Person, you will need:

路Experience of working in a highly competitive customer focused role(B2B,B2C)

路Experience of working within a sales/target driven role

路Proactive mindset

路To be customer centric with a customer service background

路To demonstrate proactive sales via phone, face-to-face & online

路To have had experience of working in a fast-paced role,whilst maintaining a consistent eye for detail

路A flexible approach and an ability to work under pressure

路Independence

路An ability to recognise sales opportunities

路An ability to embrace change and new technologies

Training

The role will offer on-the-job training and opportunities to gain product knowledge via in house training platforms in addition to manufacturer training programs.

Remuneration: Salary upto 拢35K+Pension+Annual Incentive scheme 25 Days hols+BHols

Hours 08:30 to17:00 Mon-Fri
