The Job:

Main duties and responsibilities of a Production Operative:

• Operating production machinery to cut, shape and assemble raw materials
• Working considerately to reduce material wastage
• Interpreting drawings and measurements to ensure accuracy
• Manual handling of materials, preparing for dispatch
• Maintaining a clean, safe workstation
• Follow all Quality Control guidelines set by the Company

These Production Operative positions are temporary to permanent position, with the opportunity to gain a long-term role.

The Requirements:

These Production Operative roles doesn’t require any formal qualifications or experience.

The bits you do need though include:

• Ability to undertake manual work – some of the materials can be heavy.
• Experience using hand and power tools (even if this is from DIY at home)
• Reliability – it’s a small team and each person counts!
• Your own transport (owing to working hours & location)
• Flexibility – plans can change… some degree of flexibility (possible overtime)
