Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to join our manufacturing team and contribute to the efficient operation of our production facility. The successful candidate will play a vital role in transporting materials and finished products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting other manufacturing activities as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move raw materials, components, and finished products within the manufacturing facility.
2.Material Handling: Load and unload trucks, trailers, and storage areas using forklifts, ensuring that all materials are handled with care to prevent damage.
3.Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control by accurately recording incoming and outgoing materials and organizing warehouse space for efficient storage.
4.Production Support: Collaborate with production staff to ensure the timely delivery of materials and supplies needed for manufacturing processes.
5.Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Requirements:
·Valid forklift operator certification.
·Proven experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
·Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
·Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
·Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
