Job Title: Community Waste Operative - Stickering TeamLocation: InvernessDuration: Temporary during May and June 2024Pay rate: £12.45 per hourHours: Monday to Thursday 7.00am-3.00pm & Friday 7.00am-2.30pmOur public sector client are recruiting Waste Operatives to work on a new project during May and June 2024, to assist with the roll-out of bins for the waste service change in the area.This role requires you to work outdoors in all weathers therefore we are ideally looking for people who enjoy working outdoors.Safety boots are required for this position and are not provided by the client, however, you will be supplied with all other necessary PPE.Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operatives will be responsible for following the bin collection vehicle around it's route, placing stickers on each bin after they have been emptied
  • Operatives will work in pairs, and will be provided with vans, appropriate clothing and daily instructions of the routes they have to cover, as well as clear instructions on how the stickers should be placed on the bins.
  • A Cat B driving licence is required
