Nicholas Associates (Engineering & Technical) are recruiting a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for an Oil and Gas equipment manufacturer and supplier.
As part of increasing long term contract requirements, they are looking to add to their engineering team with a senior electrical design engineer.
This business has a number of long term contracts with prestigious businesses in the Oil and Gas industry and thus boasts long term security that few others can offer.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design and analysis
- Support and liaise with other departments
- Cost estimates within budget
- Attend and participate in client meetings
- Liaison with test, quality, production and supply chain
- Ensure engineering change procedures are met.
- Sourcing of materials
Required Skills
- Electrical Design
- Team leadership and senior level
- Experience liaising with multi-disciplined engineering teams
- Reading and interpreting various engineering documents
- Knowledge of ISO9001
- ATEX knowledge or understanding of high health and safety environments and technology
