The role – Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer

You will have a dynamic and varied role and will be responsible for undertaking all elements of Maintenance Engineering within a dynamic, fast paced production environment.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Fault finding
  • Emergency breakdown and repair
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance
  • New plant and equipment installation as required
  • Continuous Improvement activities

You will have undertaken a traditional apprenticeship and ideally possess an HNC qualification within a Mechanical, Electrical or Multi-skilled discipline. You will have proven experience managing all elements of plant and equipment maintenance, ideally within a manufacturing, production or associated environment. You will be able to demonstrate first class fault finding and plant repair experience with a working knowledge of a broad range of fast moving production plant and equipment. Direct experience of PLCs, industrial controls and instrumentation is essential, previous experience in undertaking continuous improvement activities a distinct advantage.
