NXTGEN are partnering with an impressive regional firm in search of a new Audit Manager to join the team who is looking to make significant impact! As Audit Manager you will be instrumental to help drive forwards the Audit team, within a firm that has ambitious growth plans. If you have experience in audit, a passion to support & develop the next generation of talent, a talent for team leadership, and are able to build client relationships, this could be a fantastic opportunity for you.

As an Audit Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of the firm's audit practice. Working closely with Directors and Partners, you will:

  • Lead and manage a team of audit professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  • Drive team strategy and contribute to the firm's broader objectives within Audit.
  • Oversee and manage complex audit assignments for a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Ensure high-quality audit work that meets regulatory requirements and client expectations.
  • Participate in business development activities to expand the firm's audit portfolio.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver exceptional client service, maintain the firms excellent reputation.

What you'll need:

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Significant experience in audit, with a proven track record of managing teams and complex audit projects.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • A strategic mindset, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Experience working closely with senior stakeholders within an audit or accounting firm.
