Mediplacements is currently looking to recruit an experienced band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Haematology for a locum vacancy in Norfolk.The pay for this position ranges from £23-£25 per hour. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible working full-time.Working Pattern Initially day shifts 9-5 then night shifts x3 per weekShift Pattern Nights 2100 - 0800Sysmex XN Cell Counter Sysmex 2500 - Coagulation Diamed Gel Station - BT South Coast England ASAP startOngoing Haematology BMS The candidate will be responsible for:-Performing and interpreting a range of laboratory tests on blood and other body fluid-Maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipment-Record keeping and quality control-Providing results and advice to medical staff-Participating in continuing education and trainingThe ideal candidate will be HCPC registered and fully competent in Haematology, Coagulation and Blood Transfusion, and will be able to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
