HR Business Partner

We are seeking a Regional HR Business Partner to support our General Managers and their teams. This role is pivotal in developing management skills in Employee Relations (ER), Recruitment, People Management, and development. The successful candidate will be instrumental in nurturing a culture of safety, fairness, and expertise, aligning with our core values and vision of creating great places for our communities.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Provide high-level advice and guidance to the management team, enabling them to effectively manage their people.
  • Equip managers with the skills and knowledge to handle investigations, disciplinaries, performance management, and change management in line with our policies.
  • Ensure line managers are managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle effectively and maintaining appropriate records.
  • Support colleague engagement initiatives and ensure positive relationships on-site.
  • Handle HR matters reliably and in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Assist with recruitment campaigns and manage TUPE requirements where necessary.
  • Create a positive working environment and set up appropriate training frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Considerable experience in HR business partnering with multiple management teams.
  • Organisational and administrative skills, with experience in a site-based Distribution HR environment.
  • Proficient in IT programmes and HR systems.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building capabilities across all business levels.
  • CIPD qualification is preferred.
  • Practical and logical problem-solving skills.
  • Distribution experience, particularly with Warehouse Operatives and Drivers.
  • Experience of managing TUPE at the site level.
