Opus People Solutions are seeking a Payroll Administrator in Ipswich.

Located in the town centre and working on a hybrid basis, this is an excellent opportunity to start your career in payroll. Your new employer is recruiting due to internal promotion, and will support you to grow with a fully funded qualification in payroll once you've passed your probation period.

No experience in payroll is required to be considered! If you have experience in payroll - great, if not - don't let that put you off applying.It's important you have good administrative and customer service skills to be able to succeed in this role, you will be taught the rest. So, we encourage applicants from a variety of backgrounds, for example call centre agents, financial services, customer service, administration, insurance etc...

Day to day, you will:

  • Execute payroll processes from end-to-end for multiple payrolls, ensuring compliance
  • Investigate and resolve pay-related queries
  • Contribute to system and service improvements.
  • Ensure timely submission of pension documents.

To be considered, you will have:

  • Strong administrative and customer service skills
  • GSCE Grade C/5 minimum in Maths and English
  • Great organisation skills with high attention to detail and the ability to prioritise your workload.
  • Good computer literacy skills, including all Microsoft packages.
