An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager with our medical devices manufacturing client based in Ipswich.  Candidates are sought who are, in addition to being highly experienced in project management, are experienced in Sustainability business practices and client relationship management. Our ideal candidates are those who thrive in a fast-paced environment, are passionate about production efficiency and sustainability, and excel in coordination and planning.

Our Project Management Office (PMO) team is the heart of our project delivery, embracing Agile and Waterfall methods. We're in pursuit of Project Managers who will champion projects to completion promptly, within budget, helping us achieve our sustainability and delivery targets while engaging and keeping informed customer accounts.

As a Project Manager, you will oversee a variety of projects, ensuring they are in lockstep with our strategic and environmental aspirations. You will head sprints, monitor project performance, and catalyse stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent and interface with selected customers on all production matters.
  • Maintain a focus on sustainability and efficiency throughout project lifecycles.
  • Orchestrate project tasks utilising Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Ensure projects are completed timely, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Manage sprints for operational enhancements effectively.
  • Track project progress for engineering and R&D initiatives meticulously.
  • Facilitate stakeholder collaboration and align projects with strategic company goals.

Key Role Activities:

Manage Projects: Implement appropriate Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies to suit varied project demands. Develop comprehensive plans, detailing project scope, resources, and timelines. Lead project tasks, ensuring stakeholder alignment and project progression. Track project deliverables, manage budgets, and uphold quality standards.

Customer Production Support: Act as the voice of the customer across the production teams and interface with customer teams. Support the sales team and customers with any enquiries or questions about production status. Prepare and manage customer delivery risk analysis and report on delivery (OTIF). 

Sustainability Support: Integrate eco-friendly practices into project plans and operations, contributing to the company's net zero goals. Work as part of the team helping achieve its sustainability target, including identifying initiatives, managing and reporting on them.

Stakeholder & Team Engagement: Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams and with stakeholders.
