Opus people solutions on behalf of Suffolk County Council have an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to join their UASC Leaving Care Team.

Job Title: Children's Social Worker -UASC Leaving Care TeamLength of assignment: 3 MonthsHours per week: 37Hourly rate: £28-32p/hLocation: Constantine House, IpswichRemote/Office based:Office based/Hybrid

As a social worker within the team, you will be case responsible for UASC from the point of their entry into Suffolk until their transition into adulthood as a care leaver.To work closely with the Experienced Social Worker and Consultant Social Worker in addressing new trends/concerns within our cohort of clients and draw together partner agencies in ensuring the needs of our UASC are being met.To offer all the statutory duties required for children in care, plus support UASC with their Asylum application which involves solicitor and home office appointments.
