- A candidate with 1 years' experience as an attendance officer in a secondary school or relevant work experience
- A thorough understanding of SIMS or equivalent education software's (not essential but prefereable)
- A firm manner when interacting with parents regarding truancy and absences
- Experience of Bromcom/SIMS
Candidates will be expected to:
- Contribute to the improvement of attendance throughout the school and meet/exceed the school attendance annual targets.
- Work with the SIMS Attendance system to monitor and identify truancy and absence in order note trends and intervene appropriately
- Be the first line of contact to parents in relation to attendance and truancy
