We are looking for a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our team. The role involves multidrop deliveries using an 18-tonne vehicle, with two runs daily. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the road and is looking for a stable position with a competitive salary.
Day-to-day of the role:- Safely operate an 18-tonne vehicle to perform multidrop deliveries.
- Complete two delivery runs each day, adhering to scheduled routes and timeframes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working order.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all goods are secured properly.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and obtain necessary signatures and receipts.
- Comply with all traffic laws and regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company in a professional manner.
- Valid Class 2 driving licence.
- Proven experience as a Class 2 Driver or similar role.
- Knowledge of applicable driving rules and regulations.
- No recent driving violations.
- Ability to handle physical workload and lift heavy items.
- Good time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
