Responsibilities:
- Matching, checking and coding invoices
- Preparing customer invoices
- Reconcile bank statements
- Making payments via BACS
- Processing staff expenses
- Setting up of new supplier/customer accounts and maintaining existing account details
- Reconciliation of supplier and customer statements
- Managing petty cash
- Being first point of contact for all relevant enquiries
- Data entry
- Maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers
- Reviewing systems and processes and making improvements where necessary
- General office duties
- Finance department administration
Person Specification:
- Proficient in using Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
