Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a with a well-established manufacturing business based in West Yorkshire to recruit a Mechanical Service Engineer.

The Mechanical Service Engineer is responsible for providing a professional and prompt customer focused service to all customers’ industrial processing and engineering sites both in the UK and overseas.

Responsibilities of the Mechanical Service Engineer will include:

  • Conducting process inspections and site audits
  • Compiling detailed survey reports
  • To complete Energy Audits
  • Performing on-Site maintenance and engineering support
  • Optimisation of customer’s equipment
  • Commissioning of new and refurbished equipment
  • Producing safety documentation (RAMS)
  • Site management/customer liaison
  • Fault finding on machinery
  • Attending to call-out work on machine break downs

We are keen to speak with Mechanical Service Engineers with the following:

  • HNC Qualified
  • Apprenticeship or electrical/mechanical engineering qualification,
  • Both mechanical and electrical knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and plant.
  • Sound knowledge of electrical / electronic controls.
  • Proficient IT skills and able to use MS Office

Full UK driving license is required as National, and occasional international travel is involved
