I have a fantastic opportunity for a maintenance team leader to join a well-known company based near Telford. As a maintenance team leader, you will be in charge of a small team of engineers to achieve department targets.    

My client is looking for a maintenance team leader to join their continental shift rota. The right person will be a multi-skilled engineer with strong electrical abilities. As well as a good salary and benefits package my client offers career development opportunities for those who seek it. 

Maintenance Leader Role Benefits:

Maintenance Leader Duties include:

  • Continental days and nights rota (Average 39.12 hours per week). 
  • Manage team to meet departments KPI’s. 
  • Prioritise and resolve maintenance requests. 
  • Update CMMS. 
  • Manage installations. 
  • Completion of works orders. 
  • Control critical spares and stocks. 
  • Actively contribute to company continuous improvement activities. 

As a Maintenance Team Leader Requirements: 

  • Recognised electrical qualifications. (NVQ Level 3 or HNC Electrical). 
  • 18th edition. 
  • Previous supervisory experience. 
  • PLC and Robotic knowledge. 
  • Understanding of continuous improvement techniques (Kaizen, 5S). 
  • Good communication skills. 
  • Good knowledge of health and safety. 
  • Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience. 
  • Manufacturing experience.
