Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking Mechanical Engineers to join our award-winning brand, As part of their 180-person team, you will be instrumental in ensuring our production meets engineering standards and efficiency.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Perform both reactive and proactive maintenance on a variety of process equipment.
- Carry out regular maintenance, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and reactive maintenance as directed.
- Troubleshoot breakdowns across a range of equipment to ensure minimal downtime.
- Support Team Leaders and Production to facilitate production efficiency.
- Maintain documentation to provide historical records of breakdowns and PPMs.
- Ensure all required paperwork is kept maintained and up to date.
- Operate in a safe manner adhering to Health & Safety best practices, ensuring minimal risk.
- Comply with hygiene procedures by wearing the correct PPE.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent in Engineering Maintenance or Manufacture.
- Time-served engineer/fitter.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplined team environment.
- Knowledge/experience of working with controls, analysing faults, and providing solutions.
- Experience in both reactive and preventative maintenance.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet operational requirements.
- Some knowledge/training in electrics and hydraulics is advantageous.
- Self-motivated and able to work with limited instruction.
