Assistant General Manager Ideal Profile:

  • Senior Management Experience in a senior management position, ideally within a venue/assistant manager role
  • Exceptional understanding of high-end customer service and hospitality
  • Highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented
  • Strong background in planning and executing luxury functions and events
  • Excellent communication skills with experience leading various departments in the hospitality sector
  • A genuine passion for food and beverage
  • Proven track record of working within budgets

Assistant General Manager Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth operation of all departments, leading by example and managing the customer experience from initial inquiry to event delivery
  • Maintain brand standards through venue presentation and consistent communication with customers
  • Evaluate strategic opportunities to enhance and expand the site, working closely with the Group Operations Manager and senior management to create new client offerings
  • Proactively drive sales efforts, including hosting client viewings, supporting the sales team, and providing weekly sales reports
  • Implement strategies to boost revenue and profitability, particularly related to beverage services
  • Engage in new business development and networking activities to expand the client base
  • Oversee relationships with preferred catering partners, ensuring a seamless customer experience
