Assistant General Manager Ideal Profile:
- Senior Management Experience in a senior management position, ideally within a venue/assistant manager role
- Exceptional understanding of high-end customer service and hospitality
- Highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented
- Strong background in planning and executing luxury functions and events
- Excellent communication skills with experience leading various departments in the hospitality sector
- A genuine passion for food and beverage
- Proven track record of working within budgets
Assistant General Manager Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth operation of all departments, leading by example and managing the customer experience from initial inquiry to event delivery
- Maintain brand standards through venue presentation and consistent communication with customers
- Evaluate strategic opportunities to enhance and expand the site, working closely with the Group Operations Manager and senior management to create new client offerings
- Proactively drive sales efforts, including hosting client viewings, supporting the sales team, and providing weekly sales reports
- Implement strategies to boost revenue and profitability, particularly related to beverage services
- Engage in new business development and networking activities to expand the client base
- Oversee relationships with preferred catering partners, ensuring a seamless customer experience
