Customer Service Assistant (Kendal branch) - 36.25 hours per week

Our client is a leading company is a leading Building Society that is known for their commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences. With a strong focus on providing quality products and services, they have built a loyal customer base and are looking to expand their team.

As a Customer Service Assistant, you will be an integral part of their customer service department, responsible for providing excellent support to their valued customers. This is a diverse role that will involve handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to customer enquiries promptly and professionally
  • Providing accurate information about products, services, and promotions
  • Escalating complex cases to senior team members when necessary
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge to provide accurate and up-to-date information
  • Documenting customer interactions and updating customer records
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless customer experiences

Requirements:

  • Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling customer inquiries
  • Proficiency in using customer service software and systems
  • Flexibility to work in rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays

?This role will be based at our Kendal Branch but you will be required to support the Grange Branch when required. ?It is important the successful candidate is confident to make sound judgements based on their proven skills and experience and has the ability to act on their own initiative.
