Maintenance Assistant – Plumbing Biased
Reed Facilities in Coventry are working exclusively with a client in Warwickshire to recruit for two Maintenance Assistants with a Plumbing biased skillset.
You will be working for a well established family run business who pride themselves on their unique, friendly and green atmosphere. Due their continued growth, they are looking for candidates with general maintenance experience but ideally a qualification or experience as a Plumber or Plumbers Mate.
Responsibilities
- General maintenance duties on site on a weekly basis
- Plumbing work on mobile homes
- Completing remedial works on the site to keep a high standard
- Liasing with customers with any issues they may have
- Grass cutting and ability to operate machinery e.g. ride on mowers, blowers, strimmer’s and diggers
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Self-motivated
- Experience with ground work and laying of slabs, blocks etc…
- You would be required to install and repair water, heating and drainage systems
- Cut, shape and join pipes and fittings
Key Details
- You will be situated one main site with occasional grounds maintenance required at another site close by (you will be transported in a company vehicle)
- You will be working 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday (1 in 4 weekends required with two days off during the week)
- Working hours will be 8am till 4pm
- Full-time and permanent role
- Depending on skillset and experience, you will earn a salary up to £24,000 per annum

- NVQ Level 2 in plumbing is essential
