Extrastaff are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer for a well-established family run company based in Desborough. This is a great opportunity for someone to progress within a busy environment. You will be working within the warehouse The role primarily involves reactive maintenance with a focus on pre-planned maintenancesupporting around 30 production units, including extruders, printers, and converters.
The duties of the role will include:
Maintaining, servicing, and repairing plant machinery to minimize production downtime
Reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings
Providing technical support for projects, installations, and breakdowns
Key Requirements
QVE Certification - 17th or 18th Edition
Minimum 5 years of maintenance engineering experience (mechanicalor electrical bias)
Essential mechanical and electrical knowledge
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Hours to work
Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
Every 4th Saturday on a rota basis, paid at an overtime rate. Thefollowing Friday is a day in lieu.
