Our client has been operating for close to 100 years and during this time the company has grown to a business with operations in over 70 locations across 20 countries. This has enabled our client to increase its own market share while also maintaining its quality and therefore cultivating a fantastic reputation within the manufacturing industry.
Furthermore, as our client has been increasing its market share across the world, it has always kept an eye out for being environmentally friendly which is why our client has been able to expand it's supply chain to most large supermarkets like Tesco and Coke a Cola. Leading on from this, this has enabled the firm to increase its turnover to north of £1billion, allowing the company to reinvest in both the sites and the engineers. Therefore, this is a fantastic opportunity for a maintenance engineer to join a growing and stable company with an eye for the future.
The Role
During your time as the maintenance engineer on site, you will be expected to work on a variety of machinery as detailed below. The work you will be carrying out during your time will be a mix of mechanical and electrical work required. Therefore, as the maintenance engineer onsite, you will be responsible for:
- Reactive and planned maintenance
- Fault finding on electrical and mechanical components.
- Replacing parts like for like.
- Working to a culture of continuous improvement
- Project work to improve efficiencies across the site.
- Working on machinery such as feeders, rotary machines and robotic packers to just name a few, as well as bespoke machinery specific to the site.
The Candidate
To be successful in your application you must have the following skills, abilities, or qualifications:
- Must have a recognised engineering qualification.
- Experience of working within engineering
- A positive can-do attitude.
