Are you passionate about precision engineering and ready to take on a leadership role in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We are a leading UK manufacturer of single and 2-component dispensing machines, and we're on the lookout for a highly motivated individual to join our team.

Position Summary:

As our CNC Experienced Supervisor, you'll play a pivotal role in our operations, overseeing the day-to-day activities and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Supervising a team of operators, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.2. Programming, setting up, and operating CNC and manual machines to produce precision parts.3. Meeting production deadlines while maintaining quality standards through meticulous checks.4. Working with tight machining tolerances to deliver components that meet required specifications.5. Utilising advanced machinery systems.6. Conducting turning and milling operations with precision and expertise.7. Interpreting and understanding complex engineering drawings to execute machining tasks accurately.8. Assisting in production planning to optimise workflow and resource utilisation.9. Managing material and tooling orders to ensure uninterrupted operations.10. Addressing day-to-day machining issues promptly and effectively.11. Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations and legislative controls.12. Providing supervision, training, and development opportunities for team members.13. Collaborating closely with factory managers to drive operational excellence.14. Full-time position with 37.5 hours per week.

The Ideal Candidate:

1. Extensive experience in CNC and manual machining, with a minimum of 8 years in the field.2. A track record of consistent employment history, demonstrating reliability and dedication.3. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.4. Strong knowledge of tool selection, feeds, and speeds for optimal machining performance.5. A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.6. Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.7. Excellent organisational skills, maintaining a tidy and safe workspace at all times.8. Outstanding communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management.
